Three Chords And The Truth

HOW IT ALL STARTED:

For years we’ve been traveling around the country scouring antique malls, record stores, Gas stations, Yard sales, thrift stores, mom and pop shops, and perhaps sometimes the last place you would ever expect, digging for records.
The albums we seek out are those of under-sung songwriters and musicians of whom you may have not heard of or forgotten about, that i feel deserve their proper praise and preservation.
throughout these adventures, we realized There are countless stories out there, just waiting to be found, told and to be embraced, inspiring a new generation of creatives. If there’s anything we’ve learned along the way, it is that you never know when or where you’ll come across another deserving story. most importantly, with these stories comes the great responsibility and privilege of giving them new life through a variety of ways and mediums, and that’s what excites us here at
three chords and the truth most! our main mission is to give back to all these artists and recognize their contribution to the art of songwriting while doing our part to preserve their rightful place in music history.

WHAT WE DO:

  • Help bring culturally impactful stories to life about singular texas artists whose music and lives
greatly influenced the communities and culture in which they lived.

  • Promoting artists through a series of interviews, photo shoots, album reviews, and fundraising to help them travel, record,
and make a living doing what they enjoy most.

  • Attend music festivals and other music related events, educating the public while spreading our mission and continuing these artists legacies.

  • pressing and releasing never-before-heard and out-of-print albums

we aim to share stories, some new, some old, & some never told.
